The best competition ever....
This made me laugh....
As a part of this year's celebration of International Education Week, there is a photo competition for all McGill students (Canadians and international alike).
So, we all received yesterday the relevant e-mail with two attachments, one stating the "photo competition guidelines" and the other was the registration form.
As I was skimming through the form, I ran into this statement:

As I was skimming through the form, I ran into this statement:
"By participating in this event, you accept and fully understand the following terms:
- ISS will not be responsible for damaged or stolen photographs (make copies before submitting an entry).
- Entries will be disqualified if the guidelines are followed...."
O.K., I know this is a typo! But still, it's just funny!!!

someone should re-read their e-mails before sending them out.
Hee. Okay, that is very cute. Now I am tempted to send something in, following the guidelines, and ask to be immediately disqualified for doing it. If I had a bit more time on my hands, I probably would!
Actually, with a newer e-mail today they corrected the typo (i.e., added the missing "not")
So, if you follow the guidelines, you are in....
